Meet Our Director - Ada

Hello, my name is Ada, and I am the Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor. I have spent the past 15 years working in early childhood education, and as well as my qualifications in this field, I am also a dietitian and nutritionist with a Master’s in Paediatrics. My career has always been centred around supporting children’s development, wellbeing, and overall growth.
My passion is in the early years, where the foundations for life are built. I truly value seeing the world through the eyes of a child: Curious, genuine, and discovering everything for the first time. Children have so much to teach us, and I believe the experiences we create in these early years can shape not only their childhood and future, but also the future of our society.
As a leader, I am hands-on, thoughtful, and present. I support my team in the same way we support children, by understanding how each educator learns and guiding them with intention. I hold high standards while fostering a supportive environment, because I believe the team sets the tone for the children.
My philosophy is strongly influenced by the principles of Reggio Emilia and Circle of Security. I see children as capable, competent, and full of potential, and I believe in creating environments that invite curiosity, exploration, and meaningful learning. At the same time, I prioritise secure, trusting relationships, ensuring every child feels safe, loved, and supported as they navigate their early experiences. When children feel that they truly belong, they are able to thrive.
Strong partnerships with families are at the heart of everything I do. Open communication, trust, and collaboration ensure that every child has a smooth transition between home and care. Children are at the centre of all our decisions, and together, we create an environment where they feel valued, secure, and excited to learn.
What brings me the most joy is seeing children arrive happy, confident, and with a true sense of belonging, and knowing that families feel that same sense of trust and connection with us.
